The Famous US Landmarks Adapted Book is designed for children with Autism and learning disabilities to complete in a special needs classroom. This 10-page interactive adapted book helps students learn about United States Landmarks through WH questions. Each page includes 1-2 sentences of informational text and three corresponding WH questions. Students choose the correct answers from a field of 3 cards with both words and a picture. Each landmark has 3 questions - what, where and when. The answer cards are all correct, but the student needs to match the question and answer type (example: "where" is a place - find the state). This is not a comprehensive review of these landmarks but rather a few key pieces are highlighted for a special education class. The text is very basic so students can focus on the important pieces. The user can determine whether it is appropriate for your students. While designed for students with autism, this book can be used in any special education classroom.
