Rhyme Time Game Boards are designed for students with learning disabilities to play a rhyming game. The rhymes featured come directly from books. The Cat in the Hat; 1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; and Green Eggs and Ham. The game is played like bingo, with small manipulatives that go on the words the teacher calls out.

Technical Specifications:

  1. Set the student up with a game board (or more) and several manipulatives.
  2. The teacher calls out rhyming words from one of the books.
  3. Then student covers the words on their game board that rhyme with that particular word with their given manipulatives.
  4. This process repeats until the child gets three manipulatives over rhyming words in a row, four manipulatives in a row, or their whole board covered.
  5. Choose which way to play for a win.
