The Snow Slider is a support frame for skiing for people with balance, lower extremity, mobility and walking disabilities. The user steps into the front of the frame, and horizontal foam padded forearm supports extend on both sides. The legs on each side attach to standard ski bindings and skis need to be attached to the bottom of the frame for use. Neither skis nor bindings are included. The skis can be angled inward up to 15 degrees to slow the user's speed if necessary. The user must also wear skis when using the frame. The forearm angle has unlimited adjustment options, and the width of the forearm support can be adjusted between 9 and 20 inches. The Snow Slider includes two sets of lower tubes - one sized for adults and one for children. With the adult tubes, the forearm height adjusts between 34 and 46 inches; with the child tubes, the height ranges from 22 to 34 inches. No tools are necessary to adjust the frame. OPTIONS: Tethers and clamps; knee belt; fanny (posterior) belt. WEIGHT: 14 pounds with skis.
