Jan. 5—The Tuscaloosa City Schools system offers career and technology education programs for all students in grades 9-12.

Programs in TCS high schools:

—JROTC

—Business management and administration

—Event planning

—Food, wellness and dietetics

—Sports marketing and management

Programs at the Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy:

—Animation

—Film, digital and media production

—Building construction

—Electrical technology

—Welding technology

—Project Lead the Way: Engineering

—Recreation, travel and tourism lodging

—Cosmetology/barbering

—Health science/sports medicine

—Fire science

—Modern manufacturing

—Culinary arts

—Plumbing and pipefitting

—Agriscience education and training
