Videomatic S1-VGA is a video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. It has a high resolution monochrome camera, and is designed for use with a personal computer (PC). It can also be connected directly to a VGA monitor for use as a stand-alone desktop video magnifier. The camera automatically adjusts to the graphics modes (maximum 800 x 600 pixels / 75 Hertz) of the PC's graphics card. The maximum resolution is comparable with Super VGA (SVGA) mode. Images can be displayed in black and white or in variable colors or inverse picture mode. Computer and camera images can be displayed in split screen mode on the VGA monitor. Split-screen mode can be used horizontally or vertically. Magnification ranges from approximately 1.5 to 20 times original size on a 20-inch monitor. Images can be transferred to the PC via an integrated scanner function (a bi-directional parallel interface EPP mode is required). OPTIONS: Double magnification.
