TENS, models 1000 and 2000, are transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) devices designed to be used by individuals with arthritis and severe physical disabilities for the symptomatic relief and management of chronic (long term) intractable pain and as an adjunctive treatment in the management of post surgical and post traumatic acute pain problems. They are equipped with dual isolated channels, with two leads per channel. The pulse amplitude (constant current) is adjustable from 0 - 80 mA, with a 500 Ohm load. The pulse frequency is adjustable from 2 to 150 Hz. The pulse width is adjustable from 60 to 250 micro seconds. The wave form is asymmetrical, Bi-phase,and square pulse. The Mode selector is limited to normal in model 1000 and has additional selections of Burst and Modulation in model 2000. Both models come with a carrying case, two dual channel 360-degree swivel lead wires, four reusable electrodes, and a manual. POWER: Uses 9-volt batteries (two included).
