Autism/DTT Colors is an educational app designed for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), or attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD). This app uses Discrete Trial Training (DTT)-the primary teaching method used in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-to help children learn their basic colors. The app displays multiple colored cards on the screen and verbally announces to the child the name of the correct color that should be touched. Once the child touches a color, the app gives positive verbal feedback to him or her, letting him know if he pressed the correct or incorrect color. After ten questions/trials, the app will display the number of correct answers received. Autism/DTT Colors allows parents to program the basic parameters of the app, such as the correct and incorrect colors, timed settings, and the number and type of cards displayed. It will also keep a log entry so that parents can review their child’s results at a later time.
