Good Food Talks is an iPhone app designed for individuals who are blind or have low vision or have dyslexia. It provides them with an alternative way to access and browse through restaurant menus on their smartphones from thousands of restaurants across the United Kingdom (U.K.). The app is designed to work with VoiceOver, Dynamic Text, and other visual accessibility features that come standard on iPhones. It also offers two high-contrast settings and the option to read in OpenDyslexic font. Through the app, users can search for a restaurant by typing in the restaurant’s name or by entering in the city or postcode that they are in. Another option is to click the "Near Me" button to find a list of all the nearby restaurant locations that have made their menus accessible through this app.

With Good Food Talks, users can browse through the menus independently; create a list of items they are thinking about ordering; request a restaurant’s menu be added to Good Food Talks (if it is not already); and use the Restaurant Information icon to check opening hours, call the restaurant, or get directions on Apple or Google Maps. All of this can also be done on Good Food Talks’ website.
