Tranquil Turtle is a sound machine nightlight designed to help young children with autism fall asleep. Featuring a soft, plush body and a sturdy plastic shell, this turtle-shaped night aid projects a serene underwater light effect-complete with softly undulating waves-on the ceiling and walls when turned on. At the same time, the turtle shell glows Aquamarine and the sound machine plays one of two calming sounds: Tranquil Melody or Ocean Waves. Pressing the button on the turtle's shell triggers the light and sound show and keeps them glowing for a full 23 minutes, which is the typical length of time it takes for most children to drift into sleep. The Tranquil Turtle automatically shuts off after 23 minutes, but another push of the button will reactivate the projection if needed. The battery-operated Tranquil Turtle also features six adjustable volume levels and adjustable settings for brightness and movement.
