Music Visual Supports and Schedules is a product designed for special needs students with Autism to add schedules, visuals, rules and communication supports to music activities. Music class and activities can be challenging for students with autism. The sensory experience can lead to anxiety and overwhelm. Setting expectations and providing communication supports can help the student by reducing some of these challenges. Music can be an opportunity for inclusion but this resource takes extra steps to make sure special education students are successful. Two of the easiest ways to increase the likelihood of success is to provide structure with schedules and offer choices using visuals. This resource can be used for basic music classes or for music activities within a special education classroom. Includes instructions to set up and use each support. This is part of a larger bundle. This download is a zip file for ease of organization. This is a digital download. The teacher will download, print and prep as needed. No physical items will be sent to the user.
