The S+ By ResMed Personal Sleep Solution is a personalized sleep sensor and monitor designed for users with sleep disorders to monitor their environment and ensure a good night's sleep. It identifies the user's sleep issues by giving personalized and daily feedback, and syncs with the user's smartphone or tablet. The S+ uses a patented bio-motion contactless sensor to monitor your breathing and body movements while you sleep. Extra sensors in S+ detect key sleep-related parameters in your bedroom environment including: sounds, light levels, and temperature. These are analyzed along with how they impact the user's sleep state to produce customized suggestions for helping to get a better night's sleep. Users will place the S+ on  their nightstand to measure sleep. S+ works by detecting the movement of their upper body during sleep. The movement it detects consists of the expansion and relaxation of the user's chest as they breathe in and out, and overall body movements such as positional changes, arm twitches and shrugs.
