The SPOT Gen3 is a GPS tracker designed for users with Alzheimer's, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other cognitive disabilities. The device is GPS tracker using 100% satellite technology. It's customized tracking allows the user to change the rate tracks are sent to 2½, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. A vibration sensor tells SPOT to send the user's GPS location when they are moving and to stop when they do. This conserves battery power and avoids sending duplicate tracks. SPOT Gen3 will send track messages until the user turns off their SPOT. No need to reset after 24 hours.
