K'Track Glucose wearable

The K’Track Glucose wearable is a smartwatch designed for diabetics to eliminate bleeding when taking blood glucose readings. It takes unlimited readings with the tap of a button using “Skin Taste” technology to read glucose levels.   Unlike the conventional pinprick method, the K’Track Glucose doesn’t require strips and discreetly wraps around the wrist. Readings are taken internally and instantaneously with micro-needles, and it doesn't make the user bleed. Within a minute of pressing a button, wearers get a current reading charted on a graph of historical readings. The K’Track Glucose also performs all the same functions as a fitness tracker, measuring metrics like steps taken, distance traveled, and calories burned. It uses removable capsules — K’apsules — that last a maximum of 30 days.   The Skin Taste technology utilizes tiny micro needles that are less than 0.5 millimeters long. Their aim is not to draw blood, rather it is to access interstitial fluid, a solution that is naturally found to surround all tissue cells and accounts for as much as 16% of a person’s body weight. It carries some valuable bio-information such as glucose, which is then detected by the SkinTaste biosensor. Upon activating this feature, the tiny needle probes painlessly penetrate the interstitial fluid and brings a drop into the device for reading. This allows for discreet monitoring of blood glucose in a convenient manner.
