The Crock-Pot Smart Slow Cooker with WeMo® is a crock-pot that users who are blind or have low vision can use to cook their food using the accessible WeMo app (not included, please see separate entry). Once the user has downloaded the free app onto his or her smartphone and connected the crock-pot to his home Wi-Fi, he can use the WeMo app to increase or decrease the cooking time, adjust the temperature setting, find out what the remaining cooking time is, or turn the slow cooker off entirely. When cooking is complete, the Crock-Pot Smart Slow Cooker will automatically switch to warm mode and send the user a notification through his smartphone. This slow cooker has a metal exterior which features a power button and a built-in cord wrap. In addition to turning it off and on, the power button can be used to toggle between the three temperature settings (i.e., high, low, and warm) if the user wants to operate the slow cooker manually without the WeMo app. The slow cooker also features a glass lid and a removable, oval-shaped stoneware, both of which are dishwasher-safe.
