Twirling Bead Chain

The Twirling Bead Chain is a sensory integration activity that also teaches cause and effect. It is an adapted therapeutic toy for Adapted Therapeutic Learning to be used by special education teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, parents, and biomedical engineers working with children with upper extremity, sensory, neurological, or cognitive disabilities. The user activates the built-in red gum ball switch and the carousel begins to turn causing the colorful beads to gently touch a hand as they spin by. Upbeat music plays and red and blue lights sparkle. This can also be activated with any capability switch.
