Numicon: First Steps with Numicon at Home Kit builds a deep understanding of math through a multi-sensory approach, developing children's fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. The First Steps with Numicon at Home Kit was designed for parents and carers of pre-school children (aged 3-5) to help with their children's math learning during the Foundation Stage and early Key Stage 1, with a series of clearly-illustrated activities and games that introduce early ideas about number and arithmetic.

The introduction to the First Steps with Numicon At Home Activity Book explains the important math concepts that underpin the fun and simple-to-follow activities, and important math vocabulary that children need to use and understand is also included in the book. Extra apparatus is available separately. Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
