Skoog 2.0 is a tactile musical interface that allows individuals with fine motor disabilities, learning disabilities, Down’s Syndrome, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disabilities, or Autism explore and play different musical sounds. This rectangular prism-shaped device has a suction mount at the base and a protruding half-sphere on the top and each of its four sides. Each half-sphere is a different color and plays a different note when pressed. Users can also squeeze, press, roll, and twist the sides, edges, and corners of the Skoog 2.0 to play even more musical sounds.

Skoog 2.0 works in conjunction with the Skoog mobile app, and can be connected wirelessly to iOS devices (i.e., iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) that support Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) technology. Through the mobile app, users can select the instrument sound he or she wants Skoog 2.0 to play, select the octave, and adjust the sensitivity level. And in addition to creating their own sounds, users can also connect to GarageBand and select a song from their iTunes library or music streaming service and play along with the music.

The Skoog 2.0 tactile musical interface comes with a micro USB cable and a quick start guide.
