DIY Microwave Markers with Sugru

This DIY project is for individuals who are blind and have difficulty differentiating the numbers on a microwave’s flat number pad. Use Sugru - moldable glue that turns into rubber - to create tactile markers on the pad. Mark the 1, 3, and 5 buttons with a braille number or with a Roman numeral (depending on the user’s preference) and let Sugru cure. With these tactile markers in place, the user will know where he or she is on the number pad and whether to move down or across to find the other numbers.
