Clairmont Round Day/Night Clock

Clairmont Round Day/Night Clock is designed for use by individuals with memory and cognitive impairments associated with dementia and Alzheimer’s in which their ability to reason accurately the time of day (i.e. is it 10 o’clock in the evening versus 10 o’clock in the morning).  The clock has graphics that turn with the hour hand displaying light blue, white clouds and mid-day sun to help illustrate daytime and dark blue, stars and crescent moon at midnight for night time.  The hands are distinct from one another. For examples, it helps users to distinguish 12:20 from 4:00.
