The Capstan Handrim is a wheelchair handrim designed for people with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This aluminum alloy handrim is plastic-coated intended for users with good arm and shoulder strength but poor hand and finger grip. This handrim is fitted 8 projections at either 45 or 0 degrees (vertical). There are 3 different mounting systems for the hand rims: standard tab, close-in tab, or riv-nut. OPTIONS: 10 or 12 projections. SIZES: For 20-, 22-, 24-, 25-, or 26-inch wheel diameters.
