Siri is a voice input program for people with visual, cognitive or fine motor disabilities or physical disabilities that prevent use of the touch screen or buttons on an Apple iPhone 4S. Siri permits the user to speak commands or questions into the iPhone’s built-in microphone, and the software will perform the task or provide the information requested. Siri can be used to send text message, enter events in the calendar, create reminders, place telephone calls, write and send email, check weather conditions and initiate web and Wikipedia searches. Siri’s responses can be read aloud using the VoiceOver screen reader (see separate entry) included in Apple’s iOS software, and it works with headphones and Bluetooth headsets. Siri supports English, Spanish and German. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone 4S. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 5.0 or later
