The NuStep T4 Recumbent Cross Trainer, model TRS4000, is an arm and leg exercise machine designed for use by individuals with mobility or lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury or arthritis. Designed to combine a comfortable seated position with a smooth stepping motion, this exerciser provides simultaneous upper and lower body motion to work all the major muscle groups. Its ergonomic design is intended to minimize joint stress and low back pain, and it has variable step length options (user selected step length from 2 to 8.5 inches) which translates into an effective stride length of up to 17 inches. The seat swivels 90 degrees to facilitate transfer, and its height adjusts between 20 and 22 inches. Other features include a large easy-to-read battery powered LCD display, and a quiet, frictionless, resistance system with 10 different workload settings. Variable work rates are achieved at any of the 10 settings by varying the step length and rate of stepping. The bicycle accommodates user height ranging from 53 to 77 inches. OPTIONS: Leg stabilizer; WellGrip gripping aid and wrist support; foot secure system; wheeled transporter; seat belt; Polar heart rate transmitter belt; and floor mat. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 43 x 60 x 28 inches. CAPACITY: 400 pounds. WEIGHT: 205 pounds.
