The Summit Stairway Lift is an interior stair lift designed for use by individuals with balance, mobility, or walking disabilities. The stair-mounted, extruded aluminum track installs on either side of the staircase and is factory cut to fit the stairs. The unit's controls mount on either armrest. Foot- or finger-activated call controls can be mounted on either the wall or floor at the top and bottom of the stairs. Constant-pressure controls stop the lift the instant the user releases the control. Limit switches automatically shut the unit off at the top and bottom of the stairs. Footrest safety sensors stop the lift should it contact anything on the stairs. The wide seat swivels 90 degrees toward the landing at each level. A safety switch prevents the lift from running when the seat is not in proper position. The seat is available with vinyl or leather upholstry in three colors. OPTIONS: Wall-mounted call/send controls. POWER: Uses standard household current, 115 volts alternating current (VAC), 15 amp minimum grounded circuit. DIMENSIONS: Track is 10 inches wide and up to 20 feet long. The chair folds to 14 inches from the wall. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WARRANTY: 3 years on parts and 5 years on powertrain; labor is not included.
