The AmeriGlide Battery Powered Stair Lift is an interior stair lift designed for use by individuals with arthritis or mobility, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. The padded seat has vinyl upholstery, a movable footrest, and a curved backrest, and it swivels 180 degrees to allow the user to get on and off at top and bottom landings. The lift moves on nylon wheels. It has 24-volt Class 2 grounded controls and can be installed in left or right side orientation. Safety features includes sensors in the footrest, a seat belt with a locking mechanism, a motor with instant reversing capability, automatic limits at each end of the track, standard mechanical and electrical slack cable safety devices, and a failsafe mechanism that prevents operation until the seat is in the correct position. The lift comes with call stations for both top and bottom landings, which can be mounted to the wall or to the floor. When the lift is not in use, the seat folds up and the footrest flips up to allow use of the stairs. OPTIONS: Grocery basket, heavy material rack, and a pair of call-send controls. POWER: Uses rechargeable batteries. DIMENSIONS (DxW): Seat is 16 x 20.5 inches. When folded, the stair lift takes up 14 inches of space. Track is available in lengths up to 24 feet. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. COLOR: Grey seat with light grey upholstery and almond base. WARRANTY: 10-year warranty on the drive train and 5-year warranty on all component parts of the lift.
