The Textured Roller Step Talking Sequencer, model 653, is a direct selection communicator designed for use by children or adults with cognitive, communication, or speech disabilities. By playing a sequential series of pre-recorded messages, this sequencer enables a user with limited communication skills to carry on a simple conversation. The device can also be used for for testing, directions, multiplication, memorization, medical instructions, storytelling, and sing-alongs. It is activated using a roller with a textured surface, and can record messages with a total length of 300 seconds. POWER: Uses 4 double-A batteries. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2 x 4.5 x 11 inches.
