SuperTalker is a direct selection and sequential message communicator designed for use by individuals with communication or speech disabilities. This eight-level communicator can be configured in four different grid formats with one, two, four, or eight cells, enabling a child to use the same device as his or her abilities and needs change. The unit has 16 minutes of recording time with variable message lengths. A step-ahead switch jack allows single switch users to play back messages sequentially. Other features include matching keyguards for each grid format; built-in keyguard storage; volume control; eight input jacks for single-switch access to any specific location; and compatibility with BoardMaker (see entry) overlay software. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (not included).
