The Randomizer is a random message communicator designed for use by individuals with cognitive, communication, or speech disabilities. This device can record a series of messages and play them back in a random order. The Randomizer offers 90 seconds of recording time per level. Levels are independent and messages can be recorded in any order. Messages can be played by touching the surface of the device or using a connected external switch. Modes of operation include single message, jumble (messages play in random order), and eliminator (messages occur in random order, but once a message is played, that message is not played again until all messages have been played). Relay/switch output capabilities can be used for cause-effect skill building. Other uses for the Randomizer include greetings, rolling dice, choosing colors for a game, and picking teammates. Volume is adjustable. The device has an external speaker jack, an external switch jack and a relay jack for cause-and-effect use. POWER: Uses 9 volt battery (included). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2.25 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches. WEIGHT: 10 ounces. COLOR: Red, yellow, green, blue, or purple top with black base.
