The DADC 500 Twist is a hand control designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury, including people with limited range of motion. This power assisted hand control has a handle that is twisted gently for gas and a lever that is pushed for brakes. The DADC 500 Twist is intended for drivers who want ease of operation and precise, fingertip control. Its vacuum-assisted, motorcycle-style handle enables full throttle in one quarter turn of the wrist. The DADC 500 Twist fits a wide range of vehicles with little or no cutting to the dashboard, and its self-lubricating components eliminate maintenance and squeaks. It mounts on the either side of the steering wheel. Pedals and cruise control remain functional after the hand control is installed. All fasteners and major parts are made of high-strength stainless steel. It can be tailored with a mix of metal, wood or paint to compliment any car's interior.
