The FDS Transportable Hand Control is an automobile hand control designed for use by individuals with lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. Made of aluminium and stainless steel, the device enables the driver to accelerate and brake manually, and has a swivel knob for single hand steering. The control is foldable and is stored in a pouch. It can be installed in almost any vehicle by clamping the connecting rods to the corresponding pedals, strapping the clamps for safety, adjusting the rod's length, and strapping the control to the steering column. DIMENSIONS (LxW): Folded the unit is 8 x 40 centimeters. WEIGHT: 1 kilogram.
