The Foot ColdCure® Wrap is a cold compression wrap designed to relieve the pain and swelling associated with heel and bottom-of-foot injuries, including ligament and tendon tissue issues such as plantar pain and heel spurs. Every ColdCure® wrap includes 3 gel packs that are custom designed for use on a specific part of the body. The Foot ColdCure® gel packs run the full length of the plantar and wrap up and around the back of the heel, making them sufficient to cover the entire area.
ColdCure® wraps come with RigiGel® gel packs. The technology of RigiGel® makes the gel soft and moldable to the touch, yet unyielding under pressure. This results in a more effective, uniform treatment of pain and swelling of the injured area. And since the gel formula of RigiGel® stays cold longer than other gels, users do not have to switch out packs from the refrigerator as often, allowing for extended treatment durations.
The gel packs that come with the Foot ColdCure® Wrap is filled with XC RigiGel®, an advanced gel formula that is designed to transfer the cold more quickly and evenly within the gel pack. With XC RigiGel®, the cold in the gel pack gets transferred from the cold spots to the warm spots much more quickly and effectively. To highlight the temperature balancing power of XC RigiGel®, these gel packs have 2 different colored sides: The white strip on one side helps to distribute the cold evenly throughout the gel, and the clear side provides all the benefits of a high-performance gel that stays in place. The gel pack can be placed inside the neoprene wrap either way; it is not “back” or “front” side specific.
ColdCure® wraps are made of soft, flexible neoprene that conforms to the user’s body. It has flexible stitching and a thin, breathable inner lining, so users will not experience bunching or binding while wearing the wrap. Adjust the wide Velcro straps to find a fit for users body shape.
ColdCure® Treatments:
• Gel packs stored at refrigerator temperatures can be used inside the wrap continuously - treatments can be cycled back-to-back with no waiting in between.
• Gel packs stored at freezer temperatures can be used inside the wrap in cycles of use and rest - treatments should be cycled in 20 minutes of use followed by 20 minutes of rest.
