The SenseView DUO, model M430, is a handheld video magnifier designed to magnify text both near and far for individuals with low vision. This portable unit combines built-in distance and close-up cameras. With the close-up camera, the user can magnify newspapers, books, telephone directories, receipts, flyers, or name cards. When, The close-up camera can be tilted up for use in handwriting mode to magnify the user's writing or signature. The distance camera can be used to view traffic signs or a subway map at a distance of over 1 meter. Magnification level ranges from 2x to 13.4x, depending on distance from the object and digital zoom. Color contrast modes include full color; high contrast color; black on white; white on black; yellow on black; yellow on blue; and blue on white. There are four brightness levels. The SenseView DUO can save up to 20 images. Stored images can be magnified and scrolled to see parts that may not be initially viewable on the screen. It also has an auto sleep mode and a power saving mode to prevent battery discharge. POWER: Uses a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, with 4 hours continuous use on a full charge. DIMENSIONS (HxWxD): 1.1 x 7 x 3 inches with 4.3-inch wide LCD screen. WEIGHT: 0.57 pounds.
