The 17 Series Wheelchair Accessible Mobile Lab Station is a portable, accessible science work station designed for use by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury and others who use wheelchairs. This workstation is designed for use in classrooms and science laboratories to allow students who use a wheelchair access to scientific experiments in a classroom setting. Made with a steel frame and heavy duty solid plastic panels, this unit resembles a standard desk with an HPL counter top (chemical-resistant counter top is optional) and a wide cutout to fit a person in a wheelchair. On the right side of the desk is a stainless steel sink with a galley pump. There is a cabinet under the sink. There are three drawers on the left side of the work station. The cabinet and the drawers can be locked. There is a horizontal apparatus bar mounted on two uprights in the center of the counter top. The 17 Series Lab Station has two casters with locking brakes, and two casters that do not lock. POWER: The unit plugs into any standard electric power outlet to operate the pump. DIMENSIONS (HxDxW): 34 x 23 x 60 inches. WEIGHT: 220 pounds. COLORS: Counter top and frame are black; other parts are wood stained. WARRANTY: Lifetime warranty.
