The Ensemble is an amplified, captioned, hearing aid compatible telephone with answering system and voice output caller identification for people with low vision or hearing disabilities. This phone amplifies incoming sound up to 50 decibels (dB) using Digital Clarity Power technology, and displays a transcript of the phone conversation in real-time on a 7-inch color touchscreen. Print on the screen can be enlarged by swiping a finger. Transcript is provided by ClearCaptions phone captioning service which is funded by the U.S. government and only available in English. The service requires that one party of the call is located in the U.S. and the Ensemble has a high-speed internet connection. The device must be registered with ClearCaptions to activate the captioning feature. Captioned conversations can be saved for later use. Other features include phonebook, ringer adjustment, talking caller ID (caller ID service with phone service required), and four customizable tone settings. ClarityLogic enables customer representatives to remotely access and optimize the instrument for the end user. OPTIONS: Bed shaker, headset and neckloop. POWER: Uses a 100-240 volt, 60 hertz alternating current (AC) plug. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 23.38 x 25.87 x 16.43 centimeters (cm). WARRANTY: One-year limited warranty.
