The Digital Cordless Answering System, model KX-TG4741B, is an amplified, hearing aid compatible, large button cordless telephone with speakerphone and answering machine designed for use by individuals who have low vision or are hard of hearing. The phone features DECT 6.0 Plus Technology for interference-free communication; Talking Caller ID with 50 number recall; 70 name and number phonebook; a large, 1.8-inch white backlit handset display; and a bright LED indicator. Other features include a big button dial keypad on base, intelligent eco mode, tone equalizer, call block, silent mode, ringer ID, up to 4-way conference capability, handset locator, and clock/alarm/hold/mute function. The handset also has a headset jack. A belt clip is included and the phone can be wall mounted. The all-digital answering system has 18 minutes of recording time. Available display languages are English and Spanish. ACCESSORIES: Additional handset, stand, and handset charger. POWER: The base is powered by a 120 volt, 60 hertz plug; the handset uses two AAA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. Charge time is 7 hours.
