The Hearing Point compact induction loop system is a loop amplification system designed to help individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and use a hearing aid to hear audio input over background noise in public places such as museums, taxis, visitor centers, tourist attractions, train stations, subway stations, airports, ATMs, movie theaters, information kiosks, and conference rooms. Made of Self-Extinguishing PVC, the loop is designed to be mounted overhead for optimal performance but can also be mounted on walls or within or under furniture. The unit's low profile allows it to be used in areas where low clearance is a concern. Users can set their hearing aids to the "T" setting to reduce the volume of ambient noise and hear messages broadcast by loop system. POWER: Uses 110 Volt alternating current (AC). DIMENSIONS (DxH): 19 x 1.5 inches.
