The Panasonic Portable Cassette Player, model RQ-L51, is a cassette tape player and recorder designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This voice activated recorder can record up to 25 hours on standard two track cassettes. Recording begins as soon as sound is detected. Sound can be recorded at three times longer than normal speed. The unit has a slide microphone for recording louder or softer sounds. The HIGH setting can be used to record relatively soft sounds. The unit has a built-in front speaker and full auto-stop. Playback controls include Pause and Cue & Review, and there is a 3-digit tape counter, a 3-LED remaining power indicator, an external mic jack, and a DC-in (power) jack. ACCESSORIES: Headphones, Bluetooth/wireless headphones, and mini-speakers. POWER: Uses 2 rechargeable double-A batteries or AC adaptor (all included). Battery charger is also included.
