The CT-100 Rotary Cable Control is a hand control for automobiles designed for use by people with lower extremity or neurological disabilities and leg amputees. The Rotary Cable Control may be used on any vehicle with an automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. The unit is equipped for either left- or right-handed operation and uses universal mounting brackets. It does not affect operation of the vehicle by people without disabilities. When using the CT-100, the user operates the brake by pressing the arm of the hand control toward the brake pedal in a direction parallel to steering column. The user operates the accelerator by twisting the grip on the hand control in a counter-clockwise direction. The brake and accelerator can be operated simultaneously for steep grades. INSTALLATION: The control mounts on the steering column, brake, and accelerator. OPTIONS: A thumb-positioned hand dimmer with a toggle switch is available. The dimmer does not affect use of the floor-switch dimmer.
