The Room Valet is a fire safety, telephone signal, flashing alarm clock, and door signal system designed to make hotel rooms safer and more accessible for people with hearing disabilities. The computer-based system interfaces directly with hotel central alarm systems and in-room smoke detectors to provide visual (strobe or flashing light) or tactile (bed shaking) in the event of fire or other emergencies, as well as alerting the guest to the telephone or door knocks. Room Valet also includes an alarm clock function. This system features one-touch activation and includes user brochures and reminder tent-cards for each room. A self-maintenance capability alerts the user to necessary maintenance and malfunctions. The included maintenance kit includes all necessary tools and one each of all major components. POWER: The system operates on main building power and features battery back-up.
