Super Solvers Spellbound is a vocabulary and spelling tutorial software program for learning disabled children designed to build second- through fourth-grade spelling skills. The CD-ROM version offers more than 1,000 spoken words. The program is built on a spelling bee in which the Master of Mischief challenges players to out-spell him and his robot friends. Players can prepare for the spelling bee with three activities -- word search, flash card and criss cross -- designed to sharpen spelling skills and qualify them for the finals. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM computer or compatible, or an Apple Macintosh computer. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The windows version requires 386/ 25 MHz, 256-color VGA, Windows 3.1 or highter, 4 MB memory, a mouse and a Windows-compatible sound card. The Macintosh version supports all Macintosh 256-color computers with color monitor, System 7.0.1 or higher, 4 MB memory and mouse. The CD-ROM versons require a doube-speed CD-ROM drive.
