Imagination Express

Imagination Express is a language tutorial program designed to provide language development, cooperative learning, whole language writing and reading, theme based instruction and vocabulary development for children with a developmental disability. The interactive story book maker allows students to create everything from one-page picture stories to printed masterpieces to talking electronic books. Students can add animation, text, narration, and music using the CD-ROM theme packs "Destination: Rain Forest" (see separate entry), "Destination: Ocean" (see separate entry), "Destination: Time Trip USA," "Destination: Neighborhood" or "Destination: Castle." Features can be turned on or off to adjust the software for students of different ages and abilities. Programs are sold separately. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh, or IBM/compatibles. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh requires 256 color; CD-ROM drive; System 7 or higher; 8 MB RAM; 13 inch monitor or larger; hard disk. IBM/compatible requires Windows 3.1 (enhanced mode); CD-ROM drive; mouse; 8 MB RAM; 256 color Super VGA; sound-output device; 25 MHz 386 or better. Optional for both systems are microphone and printer.
