The Biomechanical Ankle Platform System, or BAPS, is a balance board designed to allow biomechanically accurate motion in the ankle and leg. It produces controlled, calibrated and predictable stress. The basic component is a lightweight platform which has permanent indices to assure proper foot placement (both right and left). A hemispherical attachment is inserted into the platform's axis of rotation located under the intersection of the biomechanical axes of the ankle. Varying the size of the hemisphere allows control over the degree of motion stress. The system includes the platform, five hemisphere attachments, two weight rods, four 2.5 pound weight plates, a wall mount, and a manual. WARRANTY: 5 year.
