July exhibit to feature paintings by residents of Island Terrace Nursing Home

LAKEVILLE — During the month of July, the Great Ponds Gallery in the Lakeville Public Library, located at 4 Precinct Street in Lakeville, will exhibit approximately 90 acrylic and oil paintings of a group of senior residents of Island Terrace Nursing Home.

Some of the artists are somewhat new to these mediums which have revealed their hidden talents. Be sure to experience the gallery this month to be awed by the remarkable talent located within our community.

There will be a reception held on Tuesday, July 12between 2 and 4 pm. This free exhibit is open to the public beginning July 5 and running through July 30.

The Lakeville Public Library is open from noon to 8 pm on Mondays; 10 am to 8 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays; 10 am to 6 pm on Wednesdays; and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. It is closed Sundays and Fridays. For additional information please contact the library director at 508-947-9028.
