Lasher Sport All Terrain Handcycle (ATH)

The Lasher Sport All Terrain Handcycle (ATH) is a three-wheeled, recumbent handcycle specifically designed for off-road use for individuals with mobility disabilities or lower extremity disabilities. It consists of an adjustable seat with backrest, two rotatable hand grips which serve as hand pedals, a footrest, and front-wheel drive. The seat is forward-tilting so that more of the user’s weight is applied to the front drive wheel. This requires the user to exert less force when driving the handcycle up steeper slopes. And with 6 inches of ground clearance, users can take the ATH over rough trails and bumpy terrain, and climb onto and off of curbs. The ATH also features tension adjustable nylon seating, an angle-adjustable backrest with 1.5-inch foam padding, two Ergo-Grip hand grips, three 26-inch mountain bike wheels, a Shimano SLX 11-speed Shifter, an Avid Juicy 3.5 hydraulic disc brake with Avid BB5 parking brake, and reflective decals.
