Pioneer Emergency Bodyguard

The Pioneer Emergency Bodyguard is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with disabilities who are at risk for medical emergencies. The system includes a tabletop base unit that connects to a telephone line, and a transmitter pendant that can be worn on the wrist or around the neck. In case of emergency, the user presses a large button on the pendant and it sends a radio signal to the base unit, which sends an emergency message to the monitoring station. There is also a large red button on the base unit which can be pressed in case of emergency. The pendant has a range of 200 feet outdoors. Pressing the emergency button establishes a two-way speakerphone connection between the user and the monitoring station. OPTIONS: Sensors that can monitor and send an alert if unsafe high and low temperatures are detected. POWER: Base unit uses household alternating current (AC) or a backup battery.
