The Unimanual Perkins Brailler, model 22-0101-0, is a manual braille writer designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision and who can use only one hand. This sturdy, portable machine has the features of the Standard Perkins Brailler (see separate entry) along with the ability to produce braille with only one hand. The keys for dots 1, 2, and 3 remain in a locked position until dots 4, 5, and 6 are added or the spacebar is depressed. This braille writer can emboss 25 lines with 42 cells each on an 11 by 11.5 inch sheet of braille paper, and can accommodate narrow paper widths and paper lengths up to fourteen inches long. Braille operating instructions in English and printed operating instructions in English, Spanish, French, and German are included; printed instructions in Italian and Portuguese are available upon request. A dust cover and a large wooden eraser are also included. WARRANTY: One year.
